Kevin McHugh, COO of The Atlantic Club in New Jersey, is the 2021 recipient of the Hank Boerner Pioneer Award. This award honors a pioneer in the medical fitness industry. Boerner, who died in 2012, was a founding member of the Medical ipagal Fitness Association. He was a former director of the North Mississippi Medical Wellness Center and understood the vital role of the medical fitness industry in a community.
Boerner has received many awards for his work, including the Don Schneider Award for Significant Contribution to the Industry and the Hank Boerner Pioneer Award from the Medical Fitness Association. He has also helped many others to establish iloungenews medical fitness programs in their communities. He has served on the board of the Medical Fitness Association and is a fellow of the organization.
