He was a former director of the North Mississippi Medical Wellness Center and understood the vital role of the medical fitness industry in a community.
Boerner has received many awards for his work, including the Don Schneider Award for Significant Contribution to the Industry and the Hank Boerner Pioneer Award from the Medical Fitness Association.
